Suffix. A suffix added to emphasise the nature of a person with regard to one of their obsessive or compulsive qualities, taken from the commonly used alcoholic. Terms such as chocoholic and sexoholic are frequently heard. E.g."It's pointless calling for Jim before midday, he's a sleepoholic."
